#10 Beaded Shawl, Vogue Knitting Holiday 2008 This beaded shawl was designed by Karen Joan Raz using 2-Ply Mongolian Cashmere by Jade Sapphire Exotic Fibres in the color Tanis Grays. It is worked from the top down—begin by casting on a few stitches at the neck and work the decorative lacy increases every other row. This gives the shawl a flattering shape that can be wrapped around more fully than a simple triangle. The sawtooth edging is created in the process of binding off. Silver-lined crystal glass beads are added with a beading crochet hook as you knit. Featured in Vogue Knitting Holiday 2008.
