Created in 1952 by by the French instrument makers and artists Bernard and Francois Baschet. Very used in the “Musique concrète”. Thomas Bloch is probably the best player in the world. In fact, there are really few people who can play this wonderful instrument.
I’d like to see a piece played with the cristal baschet providing the bass and harmony/accompaniment and the glass harmonica doing the melody.
