The warning was attached to the lamp like a label which I never noticed when I bought the lamp. Should I be concerned? Any tips?

if you are overly worried about it, bring it back. if you put it on a table and like it,keep it. if you are hungry, don’t eat the crystal part of the lamp,it has lead in it.

No, as long as you don’t suck on the crystal. They just have to warn you that there is a high percentage of lead in the crystal. But, it’s pretty much frozen into the crystal. So, don’t worry about it.
Yes, you should probably get rid of it. Lead is very harmful to your body and can take years to get rid of.
If you are going to hold the lamp in wet damp hands for long periods of time… or if you are somehow going to eat off the lamp you might have a problem…. but otherwise it’s just sitting there doing nothing….. except looking especially pretty when the sun’s rays hit the crystal….
How long ago did you buy the lamp? There are now guidelines on lead crystal glassware…. Here is a link… scroll down to the glassware part.

No the lead in crystal is completely different than the lead based paint that causes learning disabilities and may be responsible for birth defects. You can even drink out of lead crystal container without any worries.
I have numerous pieces of lead crystal. I have 4 kids. None has ever had lead poisoning. Yes, they’ve been tested.
The greatest danger from lead is in paint (which chips and lead dust goes in the air), and the paint on childrens toys and furniture that kids may put in their mouth or put their mouth on.
Your lamp should be just fine.
