The First Real Time Machine – Part 1 of 5

www.timetravelvideo.com Ronald L. Mallett, phd is a professor of theoretical physics at the University of Connecticut. He discovered a possible way to travel in time by applying Einstein's theory of relativity to laser light moving in a circle. The program uses CGI to illustrate his theories. Mallett was one of the first African-Americans to obtain a phd in theoretical physics. He was inspired to do so because he wished to travel back in time to visit his dead father, who died when Mallett was ten. HG Wells did it by means of an armchair and a cut lead crystal handle. The Starship Enterprise does it by unfeasibly powerful engines. And Doctor Who managed it in a 1960s police box, of all things. But just what is the truth behind time travel -- does modern day physics allow such a venture?

instead of assassinating hitler, I would instead prevent his parents from conceiving him. why allow him to be born, if you know that you will have to end up putting a bullet in his brain anyway?

If It Real I’ll Go Back In Time To Stop Me To Kill My DS

The future of mankind is depended on a time machine.

well here is another way of putting it. a mouse breeds with another mouse, and creates lots of babys, and those babys make babys, and so on until millions are born, but goin to the past and killing that one mouse effects the millions that should of been spawned, not only that. it effects the food chain. other animals cannot eat the mouse and therefore the fox starves also the predator of the fox until it involves man itself. i know it sounds abit drastic but its a simple theory. plus a paradox.

look up nasa jump room time travel has already been done

  7. GooGobbler113

Wouldn’t drastically change anything, those very very few who already own everything will still own it all, will still run the world, and will still control the masses.

i dunt really like the sound of time travel, obviously it would be friggon awesome but you could kill something and it would effect the present world we live in, gordon brown could rule the world :O

the only thing that a time machine would be usefull for is going back in time and erasing any form of potentially destructive and progress blocking religion then let the natural human progress go on its course unaltered

Forget time travel what about Parallel universes that are the endless possibilities that never were. Like, there’s a parallel universe where you didn’t graduate high school. And, where Kennedy was never assassinated. I want to know how to get into those parallel universes and how to travel from one to another. I believe there is a book of this but I don’t remember the name. If you want to see an example of what a parallel universe would look like watch Cube 2.

@fido9494 For every action there is a reaction. So if you killed “Hitler” maybe something or someone even worse would kill millions more people then Hitler ever did.. And Abraham Lincoln died for a reason.. Don’t you see that everything happens for a reason…..

  12. fido9494

maybe ther are undercover maybe they are fugatives and become terrorist in a misson to change history or the fbi

  13. fido9494

i wish i was born 100 years from now and kill hittler and the person who killed abraham lincoln and stop my teacher from being a teacher

  14. whiterobin

The answer is basically, things happen and then they are gone, they become Past. Beautiful, isn’t it? Travel though time – what fucking nonsense.

@StevieJMan lol ur right, so probably not

qoute :michio kaku “if people from the future are here, maybe their invisable”

  18. StevieJMan

if time travel existed then people of the future would be here. simple as that.

  19. machielste

Gimme proof u dumb cristian fuck u all are fuckin up the world

  20. phil1958uk

To create a wormhole, you need something, that travels faster, than the speed of light. A laser beam travels at the same speed has light, and because it”s powerful, does”nt mean it travels faster.

  21. sgtpete1

well if any one knows how to time travel please let me know,i like to try it out

  22. Victo160

Make Sure you have a CONSTANT

  23. phil1958uk

Some people that you see, on the street or in the supermarket etc. Might be from the future or the past, and because they are, you”re destined not to find out, but to only accept that they”re from the present , and because this is so, they”d be cappable of disappearing to the past or the future any time they wanted to, and you would”nt know anything about it. And they”d be the only ones to see and make contact with the time machines they travelled in.
